Stephanie Barron Lu

Stephanie is interested in exploring the relationships between environmental factors and self-esteem as they relate to gender schemas of developing young minds; and is increasingly interested in exploring the intersectional approaches to research psychology taking into account the multi-facets of identity found in underrepresented Latino communities. Stephanie is also attracted to counseling psychology, and is particularly intent on incorporating awareness of the imposter syndrome as it affects the student population and working population as a way to overcome adversity.

Stephanie is set to receive her BA in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz in the Spring of 2018.
